LNFR – Transfers, Boys, and Glory Moments

The best part about the January transfer window is that games are already underway in the local leagues. This means that the rumors will intensify and become a reality overnight. Teams cannot wait to sign their saviors. Actions must be taken on spot. Still, many technical directors, sports directors, agents, and maybe players are apparently suffering from the hangover of New Year’s Eve and are dealing with events from a very relaxed perspective.

  1. Higuain’s injury is severe. Mourinho is the happiest. He still wants a striker. Benzema will never be a Milito.
  2. Beckham is about to break his vow and Bentley’s heart too. Let’s hope the former grants the latter a “Kodak Moment” at least.
  3. Bayern Munich signed Luiz Gustavo; a new Lúcio in the making perhaps.
  4. Readers of http://www.goal.com have chosen Cristina for the half-season award of best player; a great compensation for the unveiling of January 10, 2011.

  5. Macheda to the rescue. At least the Sampdoria fans might enjoy an attitude-less display.
  6. Igli Tare thinks at his height’s level and for Mancini’s good too: Roque Santa Cruz to save Edin Džeko’s deal.
  7. Italian Nationality + 22 years old + Internazionale Milano = Drastic Mentality Change. Oh, and the name is Andrea Ranocchia.
  8. Jeffrey Bruma is having mixed feelings about Heskey’s goal. Don’t worry young lad, you will never be alone. Reinforcements are on the way
  9. .“I look forward to helping him fulfill his potential here at Arsenal,” Wenger found his new toy: Fresh at the tender age of 18 for the revival of the Japanese nights.

  10. Xavier Hernández, the Maestro, has reached the milestone of most appearances for Barcelona, just in time when we were missing Maldini’s example.
  11. Have you seen SAW 3D at the Movies? I can top that by Lucas Leiva, or what is known as the Benitez residual stain, horror scene here.
  12. I “nevermind the friend-lies” but I am sure every Al Ahli supporter and official has something to say about Zlatan’s antics while the Milan camp will never rest after Robinho’s injury. Good they signed Cassano. (Watch Zlatan’s video hereWatch Robinho’s injury here)
  13. Rio Ferdinand is trending #bestplayersfrom80s. Our own dearest @RioFerdy5 says: “… who were the top players from the 80s(maradona too obvious)??” I am happy, but are the English, too?
